How to Add KuikMark to iPhone or iPad?

Easily install KuikMark as a web app on your iOS device for quick access, and save links from any app without opening KuikMark.

Kuikmark on iPhone or iPad

You can install KuikMark as a web app on your iPhone or iPad — just like a native app! And once set up, you can save links from any app directly to KuikMark without ever opening it.

Follow these steps to get started:

Part 1 — Install KuikMark on Your Home Screen

Step 1 — Open KuikMark in Safari

⚠️ This only works in Safari (Apple’s built-in browser). Other browsers like Chrome or Firefox don’t support “Add to Home Screen” on iOS.

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Visit: https://kuikmark.com
  3. Once the page loads, sign in to your KuikMark account.
    • If you don’t have an account yet, tap Sign Up to create one.
  4. After signing in, proceed to the next step.

Step 2 — Open the Share Menu

  1. Tap the Share icon in Safari.
    • On iPad it is at the top right corner.
    • On iPhone tap the (…) icon beside the search field first.
    • The share icon looks like a square with an arrow pointing up (⬆️).
  2. Tap the more button (•••) to find additional actions.

Step 3 — Tap “Add to Home Screen”

  1. Tap “Add to Home Screen” from the list. On iPhone you may need to scroll down to find it.
  2. You’ll see a preview of the KuikMark icon and name.
  3. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

Step 4 — Launch from Your Home Screen

That’s it! 🎉

You’ll now see the KuikMark icon on your home screen. Tap it anytime to open KuikMark in full-screen mode, just like a native app — no address bar, no tabs.

Tip

You can move KuikMark into your dock or a folder with your favorite productivity apps for quick access.

Having trouble?

If you don’t see the “Add to Home Screen” option:

  • Make sure you’re using Safari.
  • Ensure you’re visiting https://kuikmark.com directly (not inside another app’s browser view).
  • Sign in first before trying to add it.
  • Try refreshing the page.

Once KuikMark is on your home screen, you can take it a step further. With a one-time setup using the iOS Shortcuts app, you can send any link directly to KuikMark from Safari, Chrome, YouTube, Reddit — anywhere with a share button.

What You’ll Need

  • An iPhone or iPad running iOS 13 or later
  • The Shortcuts app (pre-installed on all iPhones and iPads)
  • Your KuikMark API key (generated from your account settings)

Step 1 — Get Your API Key

  1. Open KuikMark and go to API Keys
  2. Tap Generate API Key
  3. Copy the key — you’ll need it in the next step

Note: Your API key is shown only once. If you lose it, you can generate a new one from Settings at any time.

Step 2 — Install the Shortcut

  1. Tap this link on your iPhone or iPad: Add KuikMark Shortcut
  2. Tap Add Shortcut
  3. The first time you use it, it will ask for your API key — paste the key from Step 1
  4. Your key is saved automatically and never asked again

Step 3 — Add It to Your Share Sheet

  1. Open any browser and navigate to any webpage
  2. Tap the Share button (⬆️)
  3. Scroll down and tap Edit Actions if you don’t see “KuikMark” under Shortcuts. If you don’t see it, you may need to scroll to the bottom of the list.
  4. Find “KuikMark” under Shortcuts and tap + next to it
  5. Tap Done

Your shortcut will now appear near the top of the share sheet every time you share a link.

Using It

  1. Find any link you want to save — in Safari, Chrome, YouTube, Reddit, or anywhere else
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Tap KuikMark
  4. The link is saved instantly — no app switching required ✅

Troubleshooting

The shortcut runs but nothing saves Make sure you entered your API key correctly the first time. Go to Shortcuts app → tap “KuikMark” → find the Text action containing your key and verify it.

I lost my API key Go to KuikMark Settings → API Key → generate a new one, then open the Shortcuts app → tap “KuikMark” → update the key in the Text action.

The shortcut doesn’t appear in my share sheet Make sure you completed Step 3. Try restarting your device if it still doesn’t appear.

Removing Access

If you ever want to revoke access, go to KuikMark Settings → API Key → Revoke. The shortcut will stop working immediately without needing to touch your device.
